Name Tag Swap

I did a name tag swap for my quilt guild!  I had Emily.  Here is what I made for her:

These are the littlest chevrons I've EVER done!  I don't know what I was thinking!

I've done quite a few swaps lately and I've loved it!  It makes me complete a project because I don't want to let anyone down!  Funny how motivation works!

Love Swap

My guild has connected with a guild in Minnesota and we are doing a February Love Swap.  It had to be a 12 inch mini quilt in any way that you interpret "love".

Here is my creation:

This is the first time I have tried the darning foot on my machine.  I wrote the three love's at the bottom of the quilting completely in free motion.  I'm actually really liking the results!  It gives me a lot of freedom and I look forward to trying more free motion quilting on my domestic machine.  I can't wait to see what I get from my partner in Minnesota!!!!
