Weekly Inspiration

Happy End of the Week!

This week was slightly less stressful than last week, but I am definitely trying to consciously take the time to cherish the inspirational and peaceful moments in my days!

Here is what inspired me the week:

My grandmother and I stumbled across this flower shop this week and it was incredibly beautiful! They had an awesome array of Orchids too, which if you remember my Orchid Obsession post you know that I couldn't get enough at looking around this store!

This book is the true story of John Elder Robison's life as he grew up undiagnosed with a form of Autism known as Asperger's.  I have always loved psychology and learning about the brain, emotions, and social interaction and this book was an interesting read.  I really like how he explained his thoughts, actions, and reactions as a person with autism and it shed some light into a world that we don't often get to see.

3.  Emmy Grace Fabric by Bari J.
O-M-G! I absolutely love this fabric!  I dig the color palette and the flowery designs (flowers seem to be on my radar this week - hello Spring).  It's very rich and kind of a little vintage-y looking.  I just can't say enough about it.  I can't wait to get my hands on some and play!  Here are just a few of my favorite prints, but you can see the full line here.

What inspired YOU this week?

Wishing you big waves and an artful day!

  2. I love all your inspiration this week. That's such a genius idea for a regular post. I would like to do that too! You should start a Linky party for it. I just sent you an email with your supernova swap match - (it's someone very dear to my heart!) XOXO -Stephanie @latenightquilter.com

    1. Thanks Stephanie! I am so looking forward to the Supernova Swap! It's funny you say to make this post a link party because I seriously considered it for this week, but just couldn't pull it off! I will definitely work on making next week's inspiration post a link party - thanks for the encouragement! ~C
