It's my first WIP Wednesday!

Since Nini and I are preparing for a craft show in November the WIP's are never ending!

Putting together lanyards:

Putting together embellishments:

It's fun adding some creativity to my sewing projects!

Adding borders to a quilt top:

I'm addicted to Tula Pink's Saltwater line!

Putting together some Swoons:

HST's and flying geese!

My first flying geese EVER!

And planning my Wicked Blog Hop Quilt!!! (no pics yet, it's all in my mind!)

Hopefully I'll have some finished things to show off soon!

Swoon With Us - and lots of other people!

Hello! Happy Friday !!!

Today we wanted to spread the word about a Swoonalong we are doing!  Fairy Face Designs is hosting this quilting party in a very no stress, low pressure kind of way which is just up our alley.

The block is so gorgeous and though we haven't tried it yet we know it will be great practice for half square triangles, flying geese, and matching points!  You can check out the pattern here. 

After scouring around the internets for some coordinating fat quarters, I decided on this mix of fabrics:

 C's Swoon Along 2013 fabrics

I'm loving the mod vibe and mix of colors.  I can't wait for this to be delivered so I can get started!
