Lisa from Marketing Creativity has provided this awesome challenge and we're so excited to take part!  Thanks for this kick in the pants to get us on track for 2015!

1.  Make an editorial calendar for 2015.
Hopefully this will keep us on track and help us with content for the coming year.  Which leads us to...

2.  More consistent blogging.
We want to work on our blogging in 2015 and there's no time to start like the present!

3.  Remember to take more photos for blog.
I feel like carrying around my good camera is so cumbersome.  I can't put it down for fear of someone walking away with it and holding it limits what I can do. I need to figure out a way to have the camera handy but not in the way.

4.  Do 2 paintings.
I want to play with some quotes and ideas that have been floating around in my head and won't leave me alone!  I hope to get 2 done before 2015 starts!

5.  Finish 5 quilts.
I have had these quilts in the works for months!  Luckily most have a deadline that's before the end of the year so that will force me to have most of the finished!

6.  Fix dripping faucet.
Nini's bathroom faucet has been dripping for too long.  Time to put the plumber's hat on!

7.  Free motion quilt 2 quilts.
I have finished tops that must be done before Christmas.

8.  Organize the coat closet.
The games and wrapping paper have taken over the hallway coat closet.  Time to take it back!

9.  Decorate for Christmas.
Hopefully this gets done sometime before Christmas.

10.  Gather 2 project ideas for Stamp Club.
I like to participate and share at our Rubber Stamp Club by finding fun different projects to share with my friends.

11.  Organize my UFO's (UnFinished Objects) to be finished in 2015.
I've got a few projects that I started and need to finish.  I'm going to prioritize them and work on them in 2015.

12.  Post first Youtube video.
Ahhhh! This is scary for us but we're really excited about it!

13.  Brainstorm ideas for more videos.
Hopefully this become a fun aspect of our blog!

14.  Make dresses for the girls.
I have two special little girls that like girly dresses.  I am going to make them beautiful dresses for Christmas!

15.  Set up an art journal for 2015.
I want to experiment and play more with paint and paper.  I'm going to make an art journal to play in and keep a journal of 2015, cuz it's gonna be awesome!!

Do you have any goals that you want to complete before 2015 begins?  We'd love to hear them!

  1. Do I have GOALS??? I just finally understood what a editorial calender was and downloaded a free one from HubSpot. I can finally take down the hugh calender hanging with post-its all over it. Goal one is done--Thank You--This maybe a PLAN!

  2. I do like the idea of creating an editorial calendar for the blog. But, FIFTEEN goals to be completed between now and January first?! That's TERRIFYING! To me, that would be setting myself up for failure just as surely as if I stood on my roof and decided to make one goal: to jump off and fly! :-) Hmmm... I could try to finish just ONE of my quilts by the end of the year, and that would be challenging enough. If you finish all of your goals early, feel free to come over to my house and you can organize MY closets too, okay? Hah!

    2. HAHAHAHA no need to panic! If you don't get them done, nothing's going to happen! This was just a good way for me to organize and clear out my headspace. Sometimes I get things jumbled and don't know what I should be prioritizing! Plus, there are 2 of us working at this list. These are things we would like to get done before the new year but if they don't, who cares? We are very low stress around these parts! Didn't mean to cause anxiety :-)
