I've been enjoying all the fall inspired drinks and food that come with the season but I found a recipe I had to try for myself!:
BAKED PUMPKIN DONUTS!!!
Except I don't have a donut baking pan, so they became:
BAKED PUMPKIN MUFFINS!!!
I followed a recipe I found on Pinterest that originally came from King Arthur Flour's website. You can find the recipe here. Check out our process:
It was really simple, though I did have help from Nini:
The recipe has you put a sugar coating on the top of the muffins. We mixed our sugar with some cinnamon, which you can see here:
We also mixed up a glaze for the top of some of the muffins. We used powdered sugar, milk, and a little pumpkin pie spice. Just another option for a nice sweet topping (the more sugar the better!):
We had our muffins as dessert around the fire and boy were they goooooood!!! We highly recommend you give them a try!
Wishing you big waves and an artful day!
