HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
A while back I ask you to help me pick curtains from these 3 fabrics:
You'll be happy to know I went with.....
(drum roll...)
THIS:
Something that wasn't even an option!!!
I just love the color and pattern and can't wait to get these curtains done! So in the spirit of weekly inspiration I found 2 different ways to make curtains that have inspired me to work on my curtains this weekend!
I found some easy directions for this at Stitched By Crystal. I like the exposed tab at the top, it kind of gives it a beachy, laid back vibe. She has a bunch of great tutorials on her page so be sure to check them out!!!
This curtain has the tab hidden in the back and is a little more of a classic curtain look. There is a nice little tutorial on how to make these on Lia Griffith's blog. I really like the clean look of these as well.
Let me know which one you would choose and also let us know what's been inspiring you lately! Link up below!
I'd pick the back tab version! Thanks for hosting. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to go with the back tab! Thanks for linking up!
DeleteI think with the height of your ceilings I would do the back tab. I just think it is a more polished finish! I love fabric too!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think back tab is the way to go! Now I just have to hunker down and sew!
